What is Tata OK certification?

Every certified vehicle from Tata Motors Assured undergoes refurbishment as per a comprehensive check list using Tata genuine parts in state of the art workshops of Tata Motors dealers/Tata workshop. The refurbishment is done at dealer’s workshop by highly skilled technicians trained by the company. These vehicles are certified for quality by Tata Engineers. Buyer gets a certificate from Tata Motors Assured with each vehicle which stands for reliable performance of the car.

How a Tata OK certified car is different from an uncertified car?

Certified cars are handpicked from a lot of pre-owned cars. These cars are less than 7 years old and have not more than two previous owners. Besides these cars have covered less than 1,20,000 kms and are free from any major body damage resulting out of accidents. These vehicles represent “cream of the crop” of pre-owned vehicles.

Where can a customer avail warranty and free services?

Tata OK certified vehicle owners can avail warranty and free services across the pan India Tata Motors passenger car dealer’s workshops and select Tata Authorized service centers. So, customer can travel across the length and width of India without having to worry about service backup.

Can I get loan assistance on Tata Motors Certified pre-owned vehicles?

Tata Motors has got into an understanding with various finance companies and banks to take care of your need for finance. However, the rate of interest and loan approval is subject to approval by partner finance company/Bank.

Who will take care of all the hassles related to documents transfer?

Tata OK dealers offer you freedom from all the hassles related to documents transfer in your name. However the time taken for this varies according to the lead time taken by local RTO.

What are the main factors affecting the used car value?

The value of a used car depends upon condition, make and year. Popular models/ colors command higher price. If the car has been maintained well and service record is available it gets weightage and results in a higher quote.

How is a used car assessed?

A used car is checked as per a structured check list designed by Tata OK. The car is checked for body condition, engine condition, mileage, repairs and accident history and tyre condition. High value accessories further add value to the vehicle. Assessment factors in both, positive as well as negative aspects of your car. For example, a particular color car of same model may differ in value based on market preferences. Once all the factors are accounted for price is arrived based on Tata OK price recommendations.
